Sydney and Logan met on a dating app during the 2020 COVID pandemic. Sydney was home visiting her parents when she came across the profile of Logan, who caught her attention with a picture of him and his dog Biscuit, and immediately had to swipe right because she loves dogs. She sent him a message which turned into a long conversation of getting to know each other and Logan convincing Sydney that he owned a restaurant in Lexington called "My Kitchen." Impressed, she fell gullible to his humor and although embarrassed, she knew that he was someone she wanted to get to know better.

Fast forward a few months and a few dates and Logan asked Sydney to be his girlfriend after a dinner date. They spent the first five months of their relationship doing long distance with Sydney coming to visit from Louisville and Logan coming to visit from Lexington. Sydney eventually moved back closer to home to be around family and her relationship with Logan continued to flourish and grow.

Several months later, Sydney and Logan moved in together to enjoy spending more time with each other and their dog Callie. Sydney and her family love to vacation together in Florida every year if able and welcomed Logan on the next vacation in 2021. A vacation that turned into a yearly tradition making memories brought them closer together because it was something they both enjoyed and looked forward to.

Sydney and Logan welcomed another dog into their lives named Remi because they felt Callie needed a sister. Logan and Sydney relocated to Michigan to further Logan's career and spent over a year up north where they enjoyed camping, golfing, and being outdoors.

After four years together, Logan proposed to Sydney on June 24, 2024 on the beach in St. George Island, Florida where they vacationed the year prior at the exact same beach house. It was a moment that neither of them will ever forget because it happened in a place that meant so much to them. After a year and a half living in Michigan, Sydney and Logan decided to move back to Kentucky to continue their lives, start a family in their new house, and grow old together. They look forward to celebrating with their favorite people in April!
